One command. GEOly's 61 GEO tools, live in Codex.
Install the GEOly plugin into OpenAI Codex and get the geoly-mcp server + skill — brand visibility, citations and Share of Model across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok and Google AI. OAuth on install, no token to copy.
$ codex plugin marketplace add geoly-ai/codex-plugins$ codex plugin add geoly-mcp@geoly
# OAuth on install — no token to copyPrefer slash commands inside a session? /plugin install geoly-mcp@geoly
Two commands, then OAuth
It's a self-hosted marketplace — add the store once, then install the plugin. Codex opens the OAuth window on install.
Register the marketplace
Public repo, so the owner/repo shorthand works without credentials.
$ codex plugin marketplace add geoly-ai/codex-pluginsInstall the plugin
The install verb is add. @geoly is the marketplace slug.
$ codex plugin add geoly-mcp@geolyAuthorize & verify
Codex opens the GEOly OAuth flow on install. Then confirm the plugin is loaded.
$ codex plugin listThe server and the skill, in one plugin
The bundled geoly-mcp skill teaches Codex to pick the right tool, follow the org/brand discovery flow, and quote the correct KPI caliber.
~61 MCP tools
Brand analytics, competitive and public/industry intelligence, plus write actions — exposed as callable tools.
The geoly-mcp skill
SKILL.md + references teach Codex the access model, KPI calibers and recipes so answers stay accurate.
OAuth on install
No token to generate or paste. Sign in once; the tools mount on restart.
Hosted, no local server
The plugin points at app.geoly.ai/api/mcp. Nothing runs on your machine.
Ask Codex, get GEO answers
Once the tools mount, ask in plain language — Codex picks the tool and reasons over the result.

Plugins do not auto-update
Refreshing the catalog is not enough — reinstall to copy the update, then fully restart Codex so the tools reload.
$ codex plugin marketplace upgrade geoly$ codex plugin add geoly-mcp@geoly
# reinstall is required — then fully restart Codex$ codex plugin marketplace upgrade geoly$ codex plugin add geoly-mcp@geoly# quit & relaunch — tools load at process start$ codex plugin marketplace add geoly-ai/codex-plugins --ref v0.1.0Good to know
A GEOly account
OAuth runs at install. An active subscription unlocks the full tool set.
Grow+ for public tools
Public / industry intelligence tools require a Grow+ plan; free users can authenticate with limited access.
Single-org context
A token spanning multiple orgs is read-only and hides the public/industry tools. Use one org for the full set.
Codex plugin questions
MCP tools and the skill load at process start, so fully quit and relaunch Codex (or start a new session). From v0.1.4+ the skill auto-runs the OAuth login for you; if tools still miss on Codex Desktop, use the Codex CLI, which mounts OAuth MCP tools reliably.
Install GEOly in Codex now
Two commands and an OAuth sign-in. Not on Codex? Connect any MCP client instead.
